Deer Park Town Center Hosts Monthly Walks with Mini Therapy Horses

Village of Deer Park, IL – Deer Park Town Center is proud to partner with the SOUL Harbour Ranch Animal Therapy Program for the “Walk with Me” initiative. Deer Park area residents and nearby community friends are encouraged to come walk and visit with the sneaker-wearing, registered animal therapy mini horses and therapy dogs, every 2nd Sunday of the month through October. The “Walk with Me” initiative was created by Pet Partners, the nation’s premier national therapy organization, to promote walking for better health. Walking outdoors around the shopping center is a great way to get the physical activity needed to obtain heath benefits, and walking with animals makes the activity fun for families and people of all ages.
