Dave Zelman, AIA

Dave Zelman serves as Senior Vice President of Development at Poag Development Group, where he leads design and construction across the company’s national portfolio. A licensed architect with over 30 years of experience in retail, hospitality, and entertainment development, Zelman is known for translating strategic vision into built environments that emphasize comfort, convenience, and community connection.

Prior to joining Poag, Zelman held senior roles at The Cordish Companies and FRCH Design Worldwide, where he oversaw the development of dynamic destinations ranging from high-profile casinos to theme parks and immersive dining experiences. His expertise lies in blending placemaking principles with operational excellence to deliver spaces that drive visitation and long-term value.

Zelman holds a degree from the University of Cincinnati and maintains licensure in multiple states. He is NCARB and LEED accredited and certified in Historic Preservation.
