David Selberg

David Selberg serves as Executive Vice President- Chief Financial Officer at Poag, a position that he has held since its formation in 2014. David previously served as Chief Financial Officer of Poag & McEwen Shopping Centers from 2008 to 2014. In his role, David advises the company on financial affairs, acquisitions, strategic planning, capital formation, risk management, and maintains relationships with bankers and joint venture partners. In addition, David oversees the accounting, human resources and information technology areas of the Company.

Since joining Poag David has focused on building value and maintaining financial stability for the company. His areas of experience lie in finance and acquisitions. David has over 28 years of experience in finance and began his career as a financial analyst with Promus Companies in Memphis, Tennessee and has since held positions of Vice President and Treasurer for Resort Quest International and Chief Financial Officer at Global Material Services.

David is on the board of directors and Finance chairman for Gestalt Community Schools. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville and a Masters of Business Administration from Vanderbilt University.

Born in Peru, Indiana, David and his wife live in Germantown, Tennessee with their three children.
