THE PROMENADE SHOPS AT EVERGREEN WALK SUPPORTS MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS

The center partnered with Hocaknum Valley Community Council, an outpatient mental health and substance abuse clinic, to host the walk for mental health awareness that raised funds to help combat the stigmas surrounding mental health and addiction issues. Hundreds of participants turned out for the second annual walk held during mental health awareness month on May 4, 2019. Walkers circled the shopping center completing a 1.5-mile course and proceeds went to support HVCC’s outpatient mental health and substance abuse clinic.
