The Promendade Shops at Saucon Valley Continues Community Support with Blood Drive

The Promenade Shops at Saucon Valley partnered with a local blood center, Miller-Keystone Blood Center, to for a blood drive on Saturday, August 15, 2020. There is a blood donation shortage due to COVID-19, and so The Promenade Shops at Saucon Valley reached out to offer assistance in whatever way was necessary. Miller-Keystone Blood Center hosted a blood drive on-site utilizing their mobile blood donation unit.

Blood donations appointments were by appointment only, and all 16 available appointments were booked up in less than a week. Those who donated received a Miller-Keystone reuseable face mask, The Promenade Shops at Saucon Valley hand sanitizer, energy bites donated by Capital Blue, and a $15 shop card from Athleta. A live musical performance by YuenglingPorter on Tap was held on The Patio stage, and everyone was encouraged to take advantage of amazing weekend deals from retailers such as Soma, Bath & Body Works, Lucky Brand, and more!

Miller-Keystone Blood Center appreciated all those who came out to donate, and The Promenade Shops at Saucon Valley looks forward to partnering with them, and other local health organizations, in the future.
