Winter Events Bring Warmth and Vibrancy to The Avenue Viera
January – The Avenue Viera hosts Super Hero Fun Run
Friends of the Children of Brevard and The Avenue Viera teamed up again to support the local Guardian Ad Litem program with a Super Hero themed run. This family-friendly 5K raised funds for the nearly 1,000 children in Brevard that have been removed from their homes due to neglect and abuse. This year’s 5K featured a rolling start for racers, a mascot contest, a socially distanced one-mile fun run for kids, and a virtual run for those who preferred to stay home. Over 500 participants registered and helped raise over $2,000 for the cause.
February 2021 – The Avenue Viera Dazzles Brides with A Walk in the Park Bridal Expo
The team from Nicole Maree Bridal hosted their 3rd Annual A Walk in the Park bridal expo this weekend in The Avenue Viera’s Central Park. The event featured Brevard County’s most sought-after wedding vendors and a fashion show showcasing the incredible gowns from Nicole Maree’s collection. Socially distanced table-top vendors ranged from photographers, florists, and event planners to caterers and travel agents. Guests donned masks and enjoyed contests (like the chance to win a free honeymoon!), hors d’oeuvres, and entertainment from local DJs.
