A Slice of Pizza History at Roosevelt Collection Shops’ U.S. Pizza Museum
The U.S. Pizza Museum, celebrated a cheesy new milestone: it’s first National Pizza Day at Roosevelt Collection Shops. As a truly unique complement to the property the U.S. Pizza Museum has provided visitors from near and far with an educational and interactive experience exploring the history and pop culture surrounding one of America’s favorite foods. It has even sparked national debate in the fight of pizza supremacy between Chicago’s traditional deep dish and New York’s ubiquitous thin pizza-by-the-slice.
To celebrate National Pizza Day on February 9, the museum expanded on its pizza-themed ephemera by hosting a celebratory pizza presentation, passing out free commemorative buttons and dishing out free pizza from Chicago favorite, Aurelio’s Pizza.
