Easter Bunny Arrival at The Promenade Shops at Saucon Valley
The Promenade Shops at Saucon Valley welcomed special guest, The Easter Bunny, to the Center on Saturday, March 17, 2018. The Easter Bunny’s made his grand entrance to ring in spring, on St. Patrick’s Day, for a double-holiday event!
The event kicked off at Barnes & Noble, who hosted a coloring station in the store’s children section beginning at 10:30AM, while children and families waited for the Easter Bunny to arrive. The Bunny made his grand entrance at 11AM at Barnes & Noble’s and joined the store’s national story time book reading. After the storybook readings, the crowds lined up to participate in a parade from Barnes & Noble to the Town Square gazebo. Mascots from QNB Bank and Red Robin joined in the fun to help lead the parade. After the parade, a meet and greet with the Easter Bunny was available inside the Town Square Gazebo, followed by professional photos from 12 – 5PM .
Stylists from HairCuttery were in Town Square offering FREE hair styling & touch-ups to help kids look their best for Bunny photos. The first 30 in line received gift bags filled with hair products, complements of HairCuttery. Children also received free pinwheels from The Promenade Shops, along with coloring books and Easter eggs with silly putty from QNB Bank.
The final segment of the Easter Bunny arrival event included a special performance by Lolly & Yoyo from 12:30PM – 1:30PM in Town Square. The performance included interactive songs and dancing along with other fun activities for children.
In addition to these wonderful, free Promenade Shops sponsored activities for children, stores hosted their own in-store activities and special promotions. Peeps & Company promoted a new product launch during the Easter Bunny arrival event – “Peep on a Perch,” and held story book readings, coloring activities and crafts, in-store. Capital Blue hosted an especially popular in-store Spring Fling Event with face painting, crafts, food and kid friendly activities. Fuzziwig’s Candy Factory hosted an in-store jelly bean guessing contest offering participants a chance to win an Easter-themed candy basket. And no Easter Bunny event would be complete without an Easter Egg Hunt – hosted by Learning Express from 10AM until 4PM, participating children got a chance to find eggs in-store to win Learning Express toys, prizes and gift cards!
