Families Flock to Valley Square for a Special Walk-Thru Zoo Experience
On August 15th, The Shops at Valley Square in Warrington, PA hosted their first Walk Through Zoo! Peaceable Kingdom Educational Zoo brought their friendly, entertaining residents to hobnob with the locals.
The socially distancing, mask-wearing crowd showed up in force over a period of 4 hours with a total nearly 1000 attendees. The zoo was thrilled to receive $4,500 in donations from the excited participants who were able to have their photos taken with Einstein the camel and meet bunnies, skunks, a giant tortoise, and many other interesting critters. The turnout proved that this event was a much-needed outdoor break for families who have been quarantined under state orders for three long months. Many also enjoyed take-out and outdoor dining from the center’s numerous eateries afterwards to round out the wonderful day.
