Local Art, Artists on Display at The Avenue Viera

The Avenue Viera hosted the 2nd annual Viera Art Festival over the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday weekend. The two-day Festival brought 40 artists and 1,000 art lovers to the Center. Showcased at the event were local sculptors, painters, jewelry makers and wood carvers. Live music, a kids’ zone, and an artist’s retreat were welcomed additions to this year’s show. The Avenue is looking to grow the event even further next year with more artists and hands-on exhibits.
