Oh What Fun at The Avenue Viera

The Avenue Viera welcomed back the Space Coast Symphony Orchestra for the highly anticipated Christmas at The Avenue concert on Saturday December 15th. Each year the Symphony performs holiday favorites such as “Sleigh Ride”, “Jingle Bells” and “Silent Night”. This year’s performance also included selections of the film scores from Sound of Music, Harry Potter, Pirates of the Caribbean and Star Wars. Excited children were invited up to try their hand at conducting and our beloved Sheriff Ivey stopped by to read “’Twas the Night Before Christmas” to the audience. For the perfect finale, Santa and Mrs. Claus surprised the crowds during “Here Comes Santa Claus” and passed out candy canes and Christmas cheer.
